Financial Advisory Services

Our financial advisory services focus on identifying and implementing strategies to maximize shareholder value. We evaluate capitalization alternatives, analyzing the growth requirements of each client company and the liquidity needs of its shareholders. We examine a range of transaction strategies, including acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations and, potentially, the sale of the company and measure how each strategy impacts shareholder objectives relative to risk, liquidity, asset diversification, and value maximization.

Although any significant transaction requires a substantial amount of management time and attention, we have an established process that minimizes the burden on our clients yet achieves effective results.

Gil Turchin

Gil Turchin has more than twenty-five years of experience in the areas of finance and strategic planning. He has served as chief financial officer with a New York Stock Exchange traded company as well as for a large privately held organization. Since 1997, Gil has provided investment banking services to small and mid-market companies.

Gil received an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Memphis, and also earned a Masters degree in Managerial Science and Applied Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Gil has served on the Town of Addison Airport Board and Planning and Zoning Commission.

Paul Voorhies

Paul Voorhies has more than seventeen years of commercial banking and investment banking experience throughout Texas and the Southwest. He served as Senior Vice President of the Corporate Lending Department at First American Bank, a $3.2 billion Texas bank. Most recently, Paul has served as a principal at a Dallas-based investment banking firm. Paul has worked with corporations across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, and energy services, as well as not-for-profit companies.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northeast Louisiana University with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics. He received an MBA from Texas A&M University.
